I SESSION
This session will explore the various levels of diversity addressed in venom studies, ranging from organisms to molecules. Topics covered will include ecological and evolutionary aspects of animals inhabiting marine and terrestrial environments, offering insights into their unique adaptations and interactions within ecosystems.
II SESSION
This session will provide an overview of the emergent methodological tools and techniques driving the forefront of venom research. Topics may range from gene editing techniques to biophysical methodologies, encompassing high-throughput experimentation, cellular biology approaches, bioinformatics and computational methods.
III SESSION
This session will explore innovative approaches to harnessing venom for various applications. Topics may include the development of novel pharmaceuticals, and the use of venom derived compounds as diagnostic, research and biotechnological tools.
IV SESSION
This session will delve into the identification and exploration of new molecular targets of venom compounds. Participants will learn about cutting-edge discoveries in venom compounds activity, their interactions with biological systems, and the potential applications of these findings.
